Paternal UPD14 or Wang Syndrome

Paternal UPD14 or Wang syndrome, has a more severe presentation than Temple Syndrome. Characteristics of this condition include:

 

Genetic Causes

There is good evidence that Wang syndrome is due to a change in the expression (activation) of genes at one specific location (locus) of a paternal gene (copy from father) at chromosome 14.
